When entering text, rotate the device to display the Qwerty keyboard on the wider screen. Select the virtual keys as necessary to enter your text.
When entering text with the Qwerty keyboard, tap and hold and select Predictive text. Enter the first two letters of a word and then the alternate word list appears. Select 
and an alternate word from the list that appears.
When entering text with the keypad, you can use the following modes:

Adding words to the T9 dictionary
If you cannot find a word in the alternative word list, you can add the word to the T9 dictionary. Select Add word at the right end of the alternative word list.
