Connecting Additional Speakers

The rear panel jacks on your TV make it easy to take advantage of the surround sound system.

Connect speaker audio cables to “SURROUND SPEAKER OUT” terminals on the TV.

To improve the sound quality, connect the Red wire to the Red terminal and Black wire to the Black terminal.

The factory default of “SURROUND SPEAKER OUT SELECTION” is set to “INT” (Internal). For sound output to external speakers, set to “EXT” (External), then sound to the internal speaker is off.

The speakers MUST have to a power handling capability of 10 watts minimum (impedance 8 Ω).

Installing Batteries in the Remote Control

Slide the back cover all the way out to open the battery compartment of the remote control.

Install two AAA size batteries.

Replace the cover.

The remote control can be used up to about 23 feet from the TV.

œMake sure to match the “+” and ends of the batteries with the diagram inside the compartment.

œRemove the batteries and store them in a cool, dry place if you won’t be using the remote control for a long time. (Assuming typical TV usage, the batteries last for about one year.)
