Setting the Dynamic Range

Reduces the difference between low and high pitched tones to suitable output levels, recommended for night time use.

Press the … or † button to select “Dynamic Range”, then press the ENTER button. Press the … or † button to select “On”, then press the ENTER button.

œThis function only works when Dolby Digital is activated.

Adjusting Speaker Levels

The Test Tone confirms the speaker connections and aligns the levels of the speaker outputs. The order of the Test Tone sounds is as follow: Front Left -> Center -> Front Right -> Rear Right -> Rear Left -> Sub Woofer

Press the … or † button to select “Level Control”, then press the ENTER button.

Press the ENTER button to select “Test Tone”.

Press the … or † button to select “On”, then press the ENTER button.

œThe Test Tone for the sub woofer is very low frequency. This is normal, not a malfunction.

Press the œ or √ button to increase or decrease the volume of selected speaker, then press the ENTER button.
