Depending on the device being controlled, not all options on the D-Net control panel may be available.

The selected IEEE1394 device and its functions can be controlled through the equivalent buttons on the TV’s remote control.

Not all functions are supported for all IEEE1394 devices.

It is possible to use direct keys on the remote control (rewind, stop, play/pause, fast forward) to control external devices.

*What is EIA-775 : EIA-775 is an OSD standard that enables the control of external 1394 devices using functions such as Play, Stop, etc.

*What is CEA-931 : This is a standard for controlling external IEEE1394 devices with the TV remote control and not the remote control of the external device.

For example, to play DVHS, you press the Play button of the TV instead of the Play button of the DVHS, the Play command is transmitted to the DVHA through the IEEE1394 connection.
