STEP 1: Get ready

1.Attach the battery to the camcorder. page 22

•Align the battery with the indicator () on the battery compartment, and then push the battery in the direction of the arrow.

2.Charge the battery fully. page 23

•The battery is fully charged when the CHG (charging) indicator light turns green.

3.Insert a memory card. page 34

•You can use commercially available SDHC (SD High Capacity) or SD memory cards with this camcorder.
