COMBINING VIDEOS

You can combine up to 5 different videos into one. As this function edits the original fi le, make sure to back up important recordings separately.

PRECHECK!

•This function works in Video play mode only.

•Touch the Play( ) HD(HD ) or SD(SD ) tab on the LCD screen.  page 50

1.Touch the Menu () tab  “Edit”  “Combine.”

2.Touch video thumbnails to be combined.

•The () indicator and the order number are displayed on the selected videos. Touching the video thumbnail toggles the image between being selected () or not selected.

•The () indicator does not appear if there is a different resolution between selected videos fi les.

3.Touch OK ( OK ) tab.

•A message appears asking for your confi rmation.

4.Touch “Yes.”

•The selected video fi les are combined in the chosen order and stored as one video.

•The thumbnail of the fi rst movie image will appear in the combined movie image.

Do not eject a memory card or power off while editing a video recorded on the memory card. Doing so may damage the storage media or data.

• You can not delete fi les with the protect ( ) indicator is written on. Cancell the protect
function fi rst. page 114
• The original video will not be preserved.
• Photos cannot be combined.
• The combine function is not available in the following conditions:
- Videos in different resolution formats (Videos recorded at “Resolution:[HD]1080/50i”
and “Resolution:[HD]720/50p”) cannot be combined.
- The fi le size of the combined videos cannot exceed 3.8 GB.
- The video fi le recorded in the Time Lapse REC mode cannot be edited.
- If the remaining section of the memory space is less than 4MB, the fi les cannot be
combined.
- Videos recorded or edited by other devices.	109
