Kui suvandi Auto Source Switching olekuks on seadistatud On, otsitakse aktiivse video jaoks monitori videoallikat automaatselt.

Valik Primary Source aktiveeritakse, kui praegust videoallikat ei tunta ära.

Valik Secondary Source aktiveeritakse, kui ühtki esmast videoallikat pole saadaval.

Kui ei tuvastata esmast ega teisest sisendallikat, otsib kuvar kaks korda aktiivset allikat, kontrollides mõlemal korral esmast ja teisest allikat. Kui mõlemad otsingud nurjuvad, naaseb kuvar esimesele videoallikale ja kuvab teate signaali puudumise kohta.

Kui valiku Primary Source olekuks on seadistatud All, otsib monitor aktiivset videoallikat tuvastada püüdes kõik videoallika sisendid kaks korda järjest läbi ja pöördub järjestuse esimese videoallika juurde tagasi, kui videot ei leita.
