F Wie kann im Standbymodus ein Fax empfangen werden?

ADamit im Standbymodus ein Fax empfangen werden kann, muss der Computer folgendermaßen konfiguriert sein.

Bitte entnehmen Sie dem Handbuch des Fax- Programms, wie es für automatischen Empfang von Faxen konfiguriert wird.

Klicken Sie auf Start > Systemsteuerung >

Hardware und Sound.

Klicken Sie auf Telefon- und Modemoptionen.

Wählen Sie auf der Registerkarte Modem ein installiertes Modem, und klicken Sie auf Eigenschaften.

Wählen Sie auf der Registerkarte

Energieverwaltung im Fenster Modemeigenschaften die Option Computer mit diesem Gerät aktivieren, und klicken Sie auf OK.

(Wenn die Registerkarte Power Management tnicht geöffnet wird, wählen Sie auf der Registerkarte Allgemein die Option Change Settings.)Wenn das Modem in der oben beschriebenen Weise konfiguriert wurde, wird der Computer beim Eingang eines Fax aus dem Standbymodus aktiviert.

F Die Funktion <Remoteaktivierung über LAN>

A1 <Remoteaktivierung über LAN> ist eine Funktion, die das System aus dem Standbymodus aktiviert, sobald ein Signal (z. B. Ping oder Magic Packet-Befehle) vom Netzwerk (Kabelnetzwerk) eintreffen.

Verwenden der Funktion <Remoteaktivierung über LAN>

Klicken Sie auf Start > Systemsteuerung

>Netzwerk- und Internetverbindungen

>Netzwerk- und Freigabecenter > Netzwerkverbindungen verwalten.

Klicken Sie mit der rechten Maustaste auf LAN-Verbindung, und wählen Sie die Option

Eigenschaften aus.

Klicken Sie auf Konfigurieren, und wählen Sie dann die Registerkarte Energieverwaltung. Wählen Sie die Option Gerät kann den

Computer aus dem Standbymodus aktivieren, und klicken Sie dann auf OK. Starten Sie das System neu.

–Falls das System aus dem Standbymodus aktiviert wird, ohne ein Signal empfangen zu haben, deaktivieren Sie vor der Inbetriebnahme des Systems die Funktion <Remoteaktivierung über LAN>.

–Wenn Sie den Strom abschalten, während <Remoteaktivierung über LAN> deaktiviert ist, leuchtet die LAN LED möglicherweise weiterhin.
