Précautions avant l’emploi

Sélection du pays

Sélection du pays

Du fait que votre ordinateur est très mobile, vous devez vérifier que le pays depuis lequel vous appelez est correctement sélectionné, afin d’éviter des problèmes de connexion.

Pour changer la sélection du pays, procédez comme suit :

1.Cliquez sur Démarrer > Panneau de configuration > Connexions Réseau et

Internet.

2. Cliquez sur les options de Téléphone et de Modem .

3.Cliquez sur la connexion que vous souhaitez modifier dans la boîte de dialogue Sites d’appel :

4.Sous l’onglet Règles de numérotation, cliquez sur Modifier.

5.Sous l’onglet Général, sélectionnez le pays / la région d’où vous appelez.

6.Cliquez sur OK pour fermer la boîte de dialogue "Modifier Lieu d’appel".

7.Cliquez sur OK pour fermer la boîte de dialogue “ Options Téléphone et Modem”.

Lignes de téléphones numériques :

Si vous connectez le modem à une ligne de téléphone numérique (par exemple un système à quatre fils d’une entreprise), cela peut l'endommager.

Support DOS

•Windows XP : Ne prend pas en charge le mode DOS pur et le modem neprend pas en charge les boîtes de dialogue DOS sous Windows. Vous ne pouvez donc pas utiliser d'application decommunication pour DOS.

Utilisation du modem sur un système PBX

Si vous utilisez un programme de communication pour Windows Suivez les instructions ci-dessous :

1.Cliquez sur Démarrer > Panneau de configuration > Connexions Réseau et Internet.

2. Cliquez sur les options de Téléphone et de Modem .

3.Sous l’onglet Modems, cliquez sur Propriétés.

4.Sous l’onglet Modem, désélectionnez la case à cocher “ Attendre la tonalité avant de composer ”.

5.Cliquez sur OK pour fermer la boîte de dialogue.

6.Cliquez sur OK pour fermer la boîte de dialogue “ Propriétés modem”.
