Remplacement d’un périphérique Flex-Bay – Poste hors tension

Pour retirer un périphérique pendant que l’ordinateur est hors tension, procédez comme suit :

1.Mettez l’ordinateur hors tension.

2.Soulevez l’ordinateur pour localiser le loquet du Flex-Bay.

3.Faites coulisser le loquet vers l’arrière de l’ordinateur et maintenez-le enfoncé.

4.Faites coulisser le périphérique vers l’extérieur.

5.Faites coulisser le nouveau périphérique dans la baie avec précaution.

6.Poussez le périphérique à l’intérieur jusqu’à ce qu’il soit au même niveau que le châssis et que le loquet de verrouillage Flex-Bay produise un déclic une fois en place. Le système d’exploitation de votre ordinateur reconnaît automatiquement le périphérique à l’intérieur du Flex-Bay et configure votre ordinateur en conséquence lors de la nouvelle mise sous tension.

Remplacement d’un périphérique Flex-Bay – Poste sous tension

Il est souhaitable d’éteindre votre ordinateur avant de remplacer des périphériques, cependant, vous pouvez utiliser l’utilitaire Softex Bay Manager pour remplacer des éléments du Flex-Bay alors que le poste est sous tension.

Pour démarrer l’utilitaire Softex Bay Manager :

1.Cliquez sur Démarrer > Panneau de configuration > Autres Options du panneau de configuration > Softex Bay Manager.

2.Double-cliquez sur l’icône SwapBay dans la barre des tâches Windows.
