Festlegen eines Paßworts

So legen Sie ein Paßwort fest:

1.Drücken Sie beim Hochfahren die Taste <F2>, um das System-Setupzu öffnen.

2.Drücken Sie die Taste , um Change Supervisor Password oder Change User Password auszuwählen.

Vorsichtsmaßnahmen bei der Paßworteingabe:

Sie können Buchstaben und Zahlen eingeben. Die Funktionstasten, beispielsweise die Umschalttaste, dürfen jedoch nicht verwendet werden. Der Computer unterscheidet beim Paßwort nicht zwischen Groß- und Kleinschreibung. Beim Eingeben des Paßworts bewegt sich zwar der Cursor, Ihr Paßwort wird jedoch nicht auf dem Bildschirm sichtbar. Wenn Sie ein Benutzerpaßwort vergeben möchten, muß zuerst ein Administratorpaßwort festgelegt werden.

3.Drücken Sie die Taste <Enter> Das Dialogfeld Set Password wird geöffnet.

4.Geben Sie ein Paßwort mit vier bis acht Zeichen ein.

5.Drücken Sie nach der Eingabe Ihres Paßworts die Taste <Enter> Der Rechner fordert Sie nun auf, Ihr Paßwort nochmals zur Bestätigung einzugeben.

6.Geben Sie Ihr Paßwort nochmals ein, und drücken Sie die Taste <Enter>. Es erscheint eine Meldung, daß die Änderungen gespeichert wurden.

7.Drücken Sie erneut die Taste <Enter> um zum Menü Security zurückzukehren.

8.Drücken Sie die Taste <Eingabetaste> um zum Menü Exit zu gelangen.

9.Drücken Sie die <Eingabetaste> oder <F10>, um das Fenster zu schließen und die Einstellungen zu übernehmen.

10.Drücken Sie erneut die <Eingabetaste>, um den Computer neu zu starten.

Verfahren Sie folgendermaßen, falls Sie auf die Einrichtung eines Kennworts verzichten möchten:

Befolgen Sie das oben beschriebene Verfahren zum Erstellen eines Kennworts. Lassen Sie dabei jedoch in Schritt 5 das Kennwortfeld leer.
