Светочувствительность ISO

Экспозиция изображения определяется светочувствительностью камеры. Светочувствительность основывается на международных стандартах, устанавливающих требования к пленкам (стандарты ISO). В цифровых камерах аналогичная шкала применяется для характеристики цифровых средств фиксации изображений.

Светочувствительность ISO удваивается с удвоением числа. Например, параметр светочувствительности ISO 200 позволяет выполнять съемку на скорости, вдвое превышающей скорость съемки при значении светочувствительности ISO 100. Однако более высокие значения ISO могут вызывать «шум»: появляются рябь, и другие нежелательные эффекты. Общее правило: чтобы снизить уровень шума на снимках, лучше использовать низкую настройку ISO во всех случаях, кроме съемки в затемненных условиях или ночью.

Изменение качества и яркости с учетом светочувствительности ISO

Поскольку низкая светочувствительность ISO означает пониженную чувствительность камеры к свету, для оптимальной экспозиции потребуется хорошее освещение. При низкой светочувствительности ISO следует увеличить отверстие диафрагмы или выдержку, чтобы в камеру попадало больше света. Например, в яркий солнечный день для низкой светочувствительности ISO не требуется длительная выдержка. Однако в темном месте или в ночных условиях низкая светочувствительность ISO в сочетании с короткой выдержкой приведет к размытости снимка.
