04 Advanced Features
xOnly MP3 and JPEG file formats a re supported.
xThe Media Play (USB) mp3 format o nly supports music file s with a high sampling freque ncy (32 kHz, 44.1 kHz, or 48
kHz).
xWe recommend the sequentia l jpeg format.
xDo not disconnect the USB dev ice while it is loading.
xMTP (Media Transfer Protocol) is not supp orted.
xThe playing duration of an mp3 f ile may be displayed as “00:00:00” i f its playing time information is not fo und at the
start of the file.
xThe higher the resolutio n of the image, the longer it takes to displ ay on the screen.
xThe Photo or Music List displays u p to 300 folders or files.
xLoading may take some time depe nding on the size of the file.
xMP3 files with DRM that have bee n downloaded from a non-free site c annot be played.
xDigital Rights Managem ent (DRM) is a technology that su pports the creation of content, dist ribution and management
of the content in an integrated and com prehensive way, including the protectio n of the rights and interests of the
content providers, the preventi on of the illegal copying of contents, a s well as managing billings an d settlements.
xThe power-saving mode of some exter nal hard disk drives may be relea sed automatically when con nected to the TV.
xIf a USB extension cable is use d, the USB device may not be recognize d or the files on the device may not be re ad.
xIf a USB device connected to the T V is not recognized, the list of file s on the device is corrupted or a fi le in the list is
not played, connect the USB devi ce to the PC, format the device and check th e connection.
xIf a file deleted from the PC is still fo und when Media Play is run, use the “ Empty the Recycle Bin” functio n on the PC
to permanently delete the fil e.
PhotosViewing a Photo (or Slide Show)
1. Press the INFO button to display the option View, Start Slide Show,
Delete, Delete All, Deselect All.
2. Press the ▲ or ▼ button to select Start Slide Show then press the
ENTER

During the slide show, files are d isplayed in order from the
currently shown file.

MP3 files can be automatica lly played during the Slide Show
if the Default Background M usic is set to On. To enable this
function, MP3 files and othe r photo files must be located in the
same folder on the USB Memor y Device.
