Using an HDMI or HDMI/DVI cable HD connection (up to 720p/1080i)
We recommend using the HDMI connection for the best quality HD picture.
Available devices: DVD, Blu-ray player, HD cable box, HD STB (Set-Top-Box) satellite receiver
HDMI IN 1(DVI), 2, DVI AUDIO IN
x
When using an HDMI/DVI cab le connection, you must use the HD MI IN 1(DVI) jack for video. A DVD, Blu-ray
player, HD cable box, HD STB satellite receive r may require a DVI-HDMI (DVI to HDMI) cab le or DVI-HDMI (DVI
to HDMI) adapter. The DVI AUDIO IN jack is requi red for audio.
x
The picture may not display nor mally (if at all) or the audio may not wor k if an external device that use s an older
version of HDMI mode is conne cted to the TV. If such a problem occurs, as k the manufacturer of the externa l
device about the HDMI vers ion and, if out of date, request an upgra de.
x
Be sure to purchase a certif ied HDMI cable. Otherwi se, the picture may not display or a conn ection error may
occur.
Using a Component (up to 720p/1080i) or Audio/Video (480i only) Cable
