Using the PC Cam Function

You can record movie files onto the connected PC directly in real-time. Using this function, you can use it as a PC Cam for Video chatting. USB data streaming requires a DV Driver, Video CODEC, and DirectX 9.0 or higher installed on the PC prior to use (refer to page 137).

1. Connect the Miniket Photo to the PC with the provided USB cable as shown in the figure.

2. Turn on your PC.

3. Turn the Mode Dial to PC CAM

4. Press the [POWER] button to turn on the Miniket Photo.

Run a video chatting application such as Windows Messenger and enjoy the video utilisation.

◆Various applications take advantage of the PC Cam function. Refer to respective product documentation for further details.

5.When finished, disconnect the cable.

✤The product does not support audio transfer. Please use separate microphone for audio transfer.

✤You must install the DV Driver (refer to page 137).

✤When the USB Port connection changed, it may require DV Driver re-installation.

✤It is recommended to use an AC Power Adapter during data transfer to avoid unintended power outages.

✤Microsoft Windows 98 SE or later operating systems support the PC Cam function.

Puede grabar los archivos de vídeo en el PC directamente en tiempo real. Utilización de esta función, puede utilizarla como una cámara WEB para chat de vídeo y conferencia. El flujo de datos USB requiere un controlador DV, CÓDEC de vídeo y DirectX 9.0 o superior instalado en el PC antes de utilizarlo (consulte la página 137).

1.Conecte la Miniket Photo al PC con el cable USB suministrado como se muestra en la figura.

2. Encienda el PC.

3. Gire el Dial de modo a PC Cam (Cám. WEB).

4. Pulse el botón [POWER] (ENC.) para encender la Miniket Photo. Ejecute una aplicación de chat con vídeo como Windows Messenger y disfrute de la utilización del vídeo.

◆Muchas aplicaciones se benefician de la función de cámara WEB. Consulte la documentación respectiva del producto para obtener más detalles.

5.Al finalizar, desconecte el cable.

✤El producto no admite la transferencia de audio. Utilice un micrófono independiente para transferencia de audio.

✤Debe instalar DV Driver (consulte la página 137).

✤Cuando se cambie la conexión del puerto USB, es posible que haya que reinstalar DV Driver.
