Benutzername: Geben Sie Ihren Benutzernamen ein, den Sie vom E-Mail-Netzbetreiber erhalten haben.

Passwort: Geben Sie Ihr Passwort ein. Wenn Sie dieses Feld leer lassen, werden zur Eingabe Ihres Passworts aufgefordert, wenn Sie auf Ihre Mailbox online zugreifen möchten.

Ausgeh. Mail-Server(muss definiert werden): Geben Sie die IP-Adresse oder den Hostnamen des Mail-Servers ein, von dem Ihre E-Mails gesendet werden.

Verw. Zugangspunkt (muss definiert werden): Geben Sie hier den Zugangspunkt für die Mailbox ein. Wählen Sie einen aus der Liste. Weitere Informationen zum Erstellen eines Zugangspunkt finden Sie in "Verbindungseinstellungen" auf Seite 172.

Sicherheit (Ports): Wählen Sie einen Sicherheitstyp. Eine beliebige Menge Daten und Mitteilungen kann sicher gesendet werden.

Port: Legen Sie eine Portnummer fest.

•Mein Mail-Name: Geben Sie Ihren Anzeigenamen ein.

•Mitteilung senden: Mit dieser Einstellung legen Sie fest, ob E-Mails sofort oder erst zum nächsten Verbindungsaufbau gesendet werden sollen.

•Kopie an eig. E-Mail: Wählen Sie Ja, um eine Kopie der E-Mail an Ihre Mailbox und an die in Meine E-Mail- Adresse definierte Adresse zu speichern.

•Mit Signatur: Wählen Sie Ja, wenn Sie eine Signatur an Ihre E-Mails anhängen, eingeben oder bearbeiten möchten.

•Signale für neue E-Mail: Mit dieser Einstellung stellen Sie ein, ob das Telefon Sie bei Eingang einer neuen Mail mit einem Anzeigesymbol daraufhinweist.
