Using the motion sensor
Your Omnia has a motion sensor enabling it to change the screen mode (Portrait and Landscape) automatically according to the direction you are holding the Omnia.
To activate the motion sensor, from the Today screen, tap Start → Settings → System tab → Motion Sensor → Automatic → 
.
Even if the motion sensor is activated, the screen mode does not change when the Omnia is locked or in Dimming mode.
Also, some programs like Digital Frame, Camera, and Smart reader do not support the motion sensor.
