Writing a Calendar Entry

You can create up to 300 calendar entries. To write or edit a calendar entry on a specific date:

1.Select a timeslot on the current view (month, week or day), using the Navigation keys and press the key.

Note: If you are on the Monthly view, you can skip to the previous or next month by pressing the Volume keys on the left side of the phone.

2.Press the Options soft key and select Create. Choose the type of entry: Schedule, Anniversary, or Miscellaneous.

3.Enter the entry information. Press the Down navigation key to select each option.

Note: Depending on the type of entry, not all options will be available.

Subject/Occasion: Enter text describing the event. See “Entering Text” on page 29 for further information.

Details: Enter additional information, if required.

Start date: Enter the start date. Use the numeric keys to enter the numbers for dates and times.

Start time: Enter the start time.

End date/Due date: Enter the end date for the event or due date for the task.

End time: Enter the end time.

Location: Enter text describing the location.

Alarm tone: Press the key to enable or disable the alarm. If enabled, you can select the alarm tone as well as the time prior to

the event. Press the key to select a different alarm tone. See “Sound settings” on page 124 for further information about alarm tones.

Repeat/Repeat every year: Press the key to enable or disable the repeat. Depending on the type of entry, you can configure the repeat period by pressing the Left or Right navigation key.
