Send settings

♦Reply path: allows the recipient of your message to send you a reply message using your message center, if your network supports this service.

♦Delivery report: when this option is enabled, the network informs you whether or not your message has been delivered.

♦Bearer selection: select the bearer to be used for each type of network address accessed: GSM or GPRS preferred.

Current profile

The Current profile menu allows you to select which profile will be used for text messaging. Highlight the profile you wish to use and press the Select soft key.

Profile settings

The Profile settings menu allows you to modify the settings for each profile. Highlight the profile you wish to modify and press the Edit soft key:

♦Service center: allows the recipient of your message to send you a reply through your message center, if your network supports this service.

♦Destination address: allows you to set a destination address for any replies to your text message.

♦Default type: set the default type to one of Text, Fax, Email or Paging.

♦Validity period: you can select the length of time your messages are stored in the message center after they are sent. The actual expiry date is determined by your service provider's configuration.

♦Setting name: you can provide a custom name for your profile. When you are finished editing your Profile setting, press the Save
