La funzione preset è supportata da tutte le telecamere. Si possono inserire fino a 20 caratteri. Una telecamera con protocollo active directory (AD) può avere 7 preimpostazioni.

I nomi di 2, 3 e 4 possono cambiare a seconda del fornitore della telecamera. E queste funzioni possono non essere supportate da alcuni prodotti.

Le telecamere Samsung supportano queste funzioni.

Nel caso di telecamere Panasonic, i nomi di AUTOPAN (Panoramica automatica), SCAN (scansione) e PATTERN (modello) sono i seguenti:
