Settings

Introduction

Customise settings for functions and apps. You can make your device more personalised by configuring various setting options.

On the taskbar, tap Settings.

To search for settings by entering keywords, tap the search field at the top of the screen.

The available options may vary depending on the region or service provider.

System

Change the system settings.

On the Settings screen, tap System.

Display: Change the display settings, such as the font size and the brightness of the display.

Notifications & actions: Select quick action buttons to display on the action centre panel and change the notification settings.

Apps & features: View and manage apps and features on the device.

Multi-tasking: Change settings for multi-tasking.

Tablet mode: Switch to tablet mode and change the related settings.

Battery saver: View battery power information and change the power saving options.

Power & sleep: Set the device’s backlight timer. You can also set the Wi-Fi settings for when the device is in sleep mode.

Storage: View memory information for your device and select where new apps and data are saved by default.

The actual available capacity of the internal memory is less than the specified capacity because the operating system and default apps occupy part of the memory. The available capacity may change when you update the device.
