Phone Basics
Your handset supports a flexible user interface that allows you to modify the user
interface via downloadable themes. The availability of a custom user interface is
subject to your carrier. The following description of the basic capabi lities of the
phone is a general description and not specific to a particular user interface.
However, there are some general principles that govern the handset's u ser
interface. For each user interface, there will be a mechanism to access a main
menu that provides access and control for most of the phone's capability.

Accessing Menus

1. Select the user interface's main focus button or press to activate
the main menu.
2. Select menu items by highlighting them with the navigation key and
pressing .

Displaying Your Phone Number

1. Press , highlight the Settings menu, and press .
2. Select Phone Info.
3. Select Phone Number.

Making and Answering Calls

To make a call:
1. Make sure your phone is on.
2. Slide open your phone and enter a phone number. (If you make a
mistake while dialing, press to erase one digit at a time. Press and
hold to erase the entire number.)
3. Press to call.
4. Press when you are finished.
Tip: To redial your last recent call, press twice.
