Turning the TV On and Off
Press the POWER button on the remote control.
You can also use the POWER button on the front panel.
Plug & Play Feature
When the TV is initially powered On, basic customer settings proceed automatically and subsequently: Setting the language, Antenna input check, Channel Memorize and Time Setting.
•The Plug & Play function operates after plugging in the TV for the first time.

Press the ENTER button to start, then “Select the language of the OSD” is displayed.
œPlug & Play feature doesn’t work in the AV mode.
œEven if ENTER button is not pressed, the “Select the language of the OSD” will be displayed automatically.

Press the ENTER button to enter the language.
Press the … or † button to select language, then
the ENTER button. “Select the antennas to memorize” is displayed.

Press the … or † button to select the desired connection.
Press the ENTER button to select “Start” to memorize the channels of the selected connection.
When selecting Cable TV :
Press the … or † button to select “Cable”, then press the ENTER button. Press the … or † button to select “STD”, “HRC”, or “IRC”, then press the ENTER button.

œWhen you view the “Select the language of the OSD” the mode “Function Help” will turn “On”. (refer to page 69).
œSTD, HRC, and IRC identify various types of cable TV systems. Contact your local cable company to identify the type of cable system that exists in your particular area.
