Svoj televízor môžete nastaviť tak, aby poskytovať prístup k Internetu prostredníctvom lokálnej siete (LAN) s použitím káblového alebo bezkáblového pripojenia.

yy V závislosti od konfigurácie siete môže byť možné pripojiť televízor k sieti LAN prepojením portu LAN na zadnej strane televízora priamo s nástennou sieťovou zásuvkou pomocou kábla typu Cat 5. Ak máte vytvorenú dynamickú sieť, mali by ste používať modem ADSL alebo smerovač, ktorý podporuje protokol dynamickej konfigurácie hostiteľa (DHCP). Modemy a smerovače, ktoré podporujú DHCP, automaticky prideľujú hodnoty IP adresy, masky podsiete, brány a DNS nevyhnutné na pripojenie televízora k Internetu, aby ste ich nemuseli zadávať ručne. Väčšina domácich sietí predstavuje dynamické siete.

Niektoré siete vyžadujú statickú IP adresu. Ak vaša sieť vyžaduje statickú IP adresu, hodnoty IP adresy, masky podsiete, brány a DNS musíte počas nastavovania sieťového pripojenia zadať manuálne na obrazovke nastavenia sieťového pripojenia TV. Ak potrebujete zistiť hodnoty IP adresy, masky podsiete, brány a DNS, obráťte sa na poskytovateľa internetových služieb (ISP). Ak máte počítač s operačným systémom Windows, tieto hodnoty je možné získať aj z počítača.

✎✎ Ak vaša sieť vyžaduje statickú IP adresu, môžete použiť modemy ADSL, ktoré podporujú DHCP. Modemy ADSL, ktoré podporujú DHCP, vám tiež umožňujú používať statické IP adresy.
