Televizor možete postaviti tako da Internetu može pristupati putem lokalne mreže (LAN mreže) pomoću kabelske ili bežične veze.

Televizor možete priključiti na LAN pomoću kabela na tri načina:

yy Ovisno o tome kako je vaša mreža konfigurirana, možda televizor možete povezati s LAN mrežom priključivanjem LAN priključka na stražnjoj strani televizora izravno u mrežnu utičnicu na zidu pomoću kabela kategorije 5. Pogledajte dijagram ispod. Napominjemo da je zidna utičnica priključena na modem ili usmjernik na drugom mjestu u kući.

Ako imate dinamičku mrežu, morate koristiti ADSL modem ili usmjernik koji podržava protokol Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP). Modemi i usmjernici koji podržavaju DHCP automatski dohvaćaju vrijednosti za IP adresu, masku podmreže, pristupnik i DNS poslužitelj koje su televizoru potrebne za pristup Internetu, tako da ih ne morate ručno unositi. Većina kućnih mreža su dinamičke mreže.

Za neke je mreže potrebna statična IP adresa. Ako je za mrežu potrebna statična IP adresa, morate ručno unijeti vrijednosti za IP adresu, masku podmreže, pristupnik i DNS poslužitelj na zaslonu televizora za postavljanje mreže prilikom postavljanja mrežne veze. Vrijednosti za IP adresu, masku podmreže, pristupnik i DNS poslužitelj zatražite od davatelja internetski usluga (ISP). Ako imate računalo sa sustavom Windows, te vrijednosti možete dobiti putem svog računala.

✎✎ Ako je za vašu mrežu potrebna statična IP adresa, možete koristiti ADSL modeme koji podržavaju DHCP. ADSL modemi koji podržavaju DHCP omogućavaju i korištenje statičnih IP adresa.
