6.3 Security
You can set the monitor to be accessed only via a password.

1Press to open the Setup screen.

2Select Security. Selecting Security will always display the following
password prompt. Enter the current password. The initial password is
0000. This is working only from 1004.17.

3Set Functions Lock to On.

4Because the initial password of most devices with a security function is
set to 0000, it is best to change the password. Enter a new password in
the Change PIN field.

5If you forget your password, perform Reset Settings. The password
will be reset to 0000. Refer to the following section for details about
Reset Settings.
