Uso de la función WOL (Reactivación de LAN)

La función <Reactivación de LAN> activa el sistema en modo de suspensión cuando se recibe una señal (como, por ejemplo, un comando ping o magic packet) de la red (LAN cableada).

Haga clic en el Charms menu (Menú Accesos) en el

 

escritorio > Configuración

> Panel de control > Redes

e Internet > Centro de redes y recursos compartidos y haga clic en Cambiar configuración del adaptador en el panel del menú de la izquierda.

Haga clic con el botón derecho del ratón en Conexión de

área local y seleccione Propiedades.

3 Haga clic en la pestaña Configurar > Administración de energía. Seleccione Permitir a este dispositivo reactivar el equipo y haga clic en Aceptar. Reinicie el sistema.

- Si el sistema está en modo de suspensión y se activa aunque no reciba ninguna señal, desactive la función <Reactivación de LAN> antes de utilizarlo.

- El LED LAN tal vez no se apague si el sistema se apaga deshabilitando la opción WOL (Reactivación de LAN)

- Es posible que la conexión de una LAN cableada mientras se utiliza una LAN inalámbrica no active la función <Reactivación

-La función <Wake On LAN> tal vez no funcione si se utiliza la función de ahorro de energía híbrida. El modo de suspensión híbrida se puede inhabilitar desde Opciones de energía del panel de control.

En Windows 8, la reactivación de LAN no se admite con ping.

Cuando me conecto a una LAN cableada de 100 Mbps/1 Gbps y el ordenador (computador) sale del modo de suspensión/ hibernación, aparece un mensaje que informa de una conexión con una LAN cableada de 10/100 Mbps. Esto ocurre porque cuando un ordenador sale del modo de espera/ hibernación, la restauración de la red tarda unos 3 segundos. Una vez restaurada la red, funciona a 100 Mbps/1 Gbps.

Cuando el sistema funciona con la batería, después de insertar el cable LAN a veces tarda unos segundos más en conectarse a Internet. Este síntoma se produce como resultado de la función de ahorro de energía para reducir el consumo de la batería.

Cuando el sistema funciona con la batería, la velocidad de la LAN cableada disminuye automáticamente para reducir el consumo de la batería. En tal caso, una LAN de 1 Gbps /100 Mbps LAN funcionará a una velocidad de 100 Mbps/10 Mbps.
