RADIO OPERATION
Antenna/Earphone Use
The earphone cord acts as an antenna during reception of FM/TV/Weather Band(DT-300/300V/300VW)channels and should be extended as much as possible to improve sensitivity. Insert the earphone into the earphone jack 6 for earphone operation . When listening with the built-in speaker the enclosed
pig tail trailing antenna should be inserted into the earphone jack 
which will provide antenna function.
Abuilt-in Ferrite Antenna is used for AM reception and it is only necessary to rotate the radio for maximum dignal strength . No other external antenna is repuired .
Speaker On/Off Switch
The built-in speaker may be turned on or off using the Speaker Switch 7 .
The speaker switch must be in the off position with the earphone plugged into the earphone jack to receive FM stereo programs. Stereo icon C will appear in the display.
