Turning the power on when the power save function is active

In order to save the battery pack power, the power save function will automatically turn off the power after one minute of no use during shooting, or five minutes of no use during playback (factory-preset setting).

1 Press the MENU button, the power button or the shutter release button once.

HINT

œWhen using the separately sold AC adapter (model VAR-G6EX for the VPC-AZ3EX, model VAR-G6E for the VPC-AZ3EX [for U.K.] and model VAR-G6U for the VPC-AZ3), the power save function will become active after about 10 minutes of inactivity (factory-preset setting).
