1Set the main switch to [á] or

[à].

[á]: The LCD monitor is used.

[à]: The LCD monitor is not used.

2Turn the selector dial to [W], [Y]

or [X].

3Press the power button.

œThe power turns on, the lens

extends and the standby indicator

next to the viewfinder lights.

œIf the main switch is set to [á], an

image appears on the LCD monitor.

When playing back images

1Set the main switch to [Ô].

2Press the power button.
