Install the battery pack and card

The card can be used after it has been formatted with the camera (see FORMATTING A CARD on page 35). Be sure to turn off the power before installing or removing the card.

Use the battery pack recharged in step 1 above.

Make sure that the battery pack polarity ((+) and (–)) and the card orientation are correct.

5 Insert the battery pack.
