How Many HD Programs Can the 8000HD Record and Store?

The standard 8000HD can store a minimum of 7 hours of HD programs. Optional models of 8000HDs have a higher storage capacity. Contact your cable service provider for details about the storage capacity of your 8000HD model.

HD programs require more storage space than non-HD programs because HD programs use more pixels than non-HD programs. HD programs need more pixels in order to produce images with the clarity and crispness that are characteristic of HD pictures.

Want to maximize your storage space? Reduce the length of your Save

Time setting.
