1	Smart card slot	Allows smart card use
2	Message indicator	Indicates a message is waiting
		when blinking or illuminated
3	Display	Displays the channel numbers and
		time of day
4	Bypass indicator	Indicates optional bypass feature
		is on when illuminated

5	VOL- and VOL+	Increases or decreases volume
6	(For test)	(For technician use only)
7	CH- or CH+	Scrolls up or down through the
		channels
8	Power	Activates the functions of the
