Replacing the Antenna

The antenna of the SKM 1030 / SKM 1032 hand-held transmitter can easily be replaced. It is simply screwed to socket ￿.

￿In exceptional cases the transmitter can also be operated without the antenna. Parts of the electronic circuit and the battery then act as an antenna. However, the transmitter´s range is greatly reduced.

￿The SKM 1030 VHF works with an integral antenna, there is no socket for an external antenna.

Cleaning the Sound Inlet Basket

For cleaning, unscrew the sound inlet basket. Rinse the foam protection and teh with clear water. Dry both inlet basket and foam protection with a hairdryer.

￿Place the inlet basket and the foam protection back on the transmitter only if they are completely dry!

Noise Suppression System HiDynplus(only for SKM 1032)

The SKM 1032 hand-held transmitter is equipped with the Sennheiser noise reduction system HiDynplus. Optimum operation of the radiomicrophone requires that the corresponding receiver is also eqipped with HiDyn plus. If that is not the case, the dynamic range is drastically reduced and the trasnmission sounds muffled.
