El SZI 1015-T es un radiador de potencia por infrarrojos, con modulador integrado (transmisor de mando). Dentro de una instalación inalámbrica de transmisión de sonido por rayos infrarrojos sirve para convertir una señal de audiofrecuencia en una luz infrarroja, y luego irradiarla. En contraposición al recorrido radioeléctrico la transmisión se limita a un sólo recinto lo que permite que otros sistemas funcionen, sin problema ninguno, en recintos aledaños.

El transmisor de mando/radiador de potencia SZI 1015-T se activa por medio de la señal de BF. Para la conexión de BF del SZI 1015-T debe emplearse la entrada XLR-3, cableada simétricamente.

Desde un transmisor de mando/radiador de potencia SZI 1015-T hasta los demás radiadores de potencia SZI 1015 postconectados se tenderán cables coaxiales de 50 con conectores BNC. Por medio de las regletas de bornes también puede lograrse un cableado con cable sin confeccionar.

Banda ancha

Las instalaciones de transmisión de banda ancha por rayos infrarrojos se emplean sobre todo para la transmisión de señales de audiofrecuencia en calidad HiFi.

Campos de aplicación

Transmisión inalámbrica del sonido, de alta calidad, para iglesias, teatros, etc.

Dispersión de la luz infrarroja

En un recinto, la señal IR emitida por el SZI 1015-T se difunde en forma similar a la luz normal de lámparas, o la luz diurna. Por tanto, al caer sobre diferentes materiales, también está sujeta a condiciones similares:
