OPERATION

Attaching to the Three Point Linkage of the Machine

RHINO mowers can be attached to any kind of tractor equipped with universal three point linkage.

The area shall be properly lightened under conditions of reduced visibility. Nobody shall be within 5 metres of hitching point.

To adjust the height of the “three point” remove the shear pin (A), position the pin at the suitable height (1) or (2) and secure it with the shear pin.

Approach the tractor to the mower until the lifting bars and the three point linkage of the machine are lined up and connect them with the pins.

Insert and secure shear pins. Make sure that shear pins are locked properly.

Connect the three point to the upper hitch link and adjust length so that the mower is parallel to the ground. Before attaching or detaching the mower make sure that the control lever is properly positioned as to avoid unintentional raising or lowering of the mower.

Insert and secure shear pins. Lock the safety device to avoid loosening of the three point.

Detach the chain secured to the “three point” of the mower as shown in the picture, and position it in the three point area of the tractor in order to maintain the same height of the mower from the ground during lowering of the cutter bar.
