Your Shark® Lift-Away™ P ro
Steam Pocket® Mop is d esigned to clean
surfaces that will withstand hig h heat
and moisture. Do not use on u nsealed
wood surfaces (especially wo oden
antique furniture), unglazed cera mic
tile, painted surfaces o r surfaces that
have been treated with wax, oils,
varnishes, or shellac . The sheen may be
removed by the heat, steam, and fri ction
of the cleaning tools. Lacq uer and
polyurethane coatings provid e a hard
durable protective finish that withs tands
moisture, but it is always recom mended
to test an isolated area of the surfa ce to
be cleaned before proce eding.
We also recommend you check the u se
and care instructions from the s urface
manufacturer.
When cleaning finished woo d surfaces,
use broad, continuous cle aning strokes.
To prevent surface damage, avoid
focusing steam or allowing the cle aning
tools to sit in one spot for any amount
of time.
NOTE: While the Shark® Lift-Away™
Pro Steam Pocket® Mo p will operate
in one of three steam settings i n the
mop mode, your Handhe ld Steamer
is programmed to functi on on just
one steam setting. This set ting
is optimized for above-the-flo or
cleaning and garment s teaming.
Getting Started With Your
Removable Handheld Steamer
IMPORTANT: Before removing the
Handheld Steamer fro m the Steam
Mop Housing, make sure th at the
unit is not actively steaming . The
ON/STANDBY button should be
flashing blue. If the ON/S TANDBY
button is solid blue, then p ress the
button until it returns to flashin g
blue.

Release Buttons while p ulling out the
