VCR control buttons

When the VCR is preset by the learning remote control function, the remote control unit button will function as follows when the Mode switch of the remote control unit is set to VCR.

When the input selector button having the same number as the input terminal connecting the VCR is pressed, the VCR can operate using 1 to 8.

VCR made by other manufacturers and not preset can also operate using the remote control unit if 1 to 8 have learned the functions. (See page 67.)

Press to select the channel of the TV tuner on the VCR.

2SOURCE POWER

Turns the power of the VCR on and off.

Set pauses and still pictures.

4G

Rewinds the tape and allows picture search.

5H

Stop the tape transport.

6, 8 VCR REC

Press these buttons at the same time to start recording.

NOTE

Depending on the VCR manufacturer, for some models,

VCR REC is activated by first pressing INFO followed by dwhile you keep pressing INFO.

For other models, VCR REC is activated by following the opposite sequence; first pressing dfollowed by INFO while you keep pressing d.

Please try both methods and use the appropriate one.

Rapidly advances the tape and allows picture search.

Selects playback.

NOTE

The color-highlighted buttons on the remote control can learn the control signal from another device’s remote control.
