Watching TV
When you turn on theTV for the first time, itwill automatically memorize the broadcasting channels where you live.
Perform the following steps before you press TV POWER onthe remote control unit.
Insert the batteries into the remote control unit. (Seepage 9.)

Connect the antenna cable tothe TV. (See page 13.)
Plug inthe AC cord to the AC outlet. (See page 8.)
Language setting
Select from among 3 languages: English, French and
Spanish.
Press A/Y to select the desired language
listed on the screen, andthen press ENTER.

Make sure what kind ofconnection is made with your
TV when selecting "Air" or "Cable".
Press _11/1_to select "Air" or "Cable".
Press ENTER to enter the setting.

Channel search
Channel auto search makes the TV lookfor all
channels viewable inthe setarea.
When "Air" is selected in Antenna setting:
Press 4/1_ to select "Start", and then press
ENTER.
OH Search
When "Cable" is selected in Antenna
setting:
Press A/Y to select "Analog & Digital Search
Start" to search both analog and digital
broadcasts or"Analog Search Start" to search
onlyanalog broadcasts, andthen press
ENTER.

., To exitthe Channel search screen, select "Cancel"
and then press ENTER.
