Select V on the screen during playback to fast forward.
By selecting V repeatedly, allows you to increase the
fast forwards speed.
Select on the screen and press OK button to
restore the normal speed.
By selecting L on the screen the recording fast
forwards in intervals of two minutes.
Select S on the screen during playback to rewind. By
selecting S repeatedly, it allows you to increase the
rewind speed.
Select on the screen and press OK button to
restore the normal speed.
By selecting T on the screen the recording rewinds in
intervals of two minutes.
You can make a few settings in the USB REC menu to adapt
it to your requirements.

then press OK:
Notify hidden sections
If an entry has been hidden in an archive recording, you
can be informed by a screen message when skipping a
hidden area. The factory default is set to yes.
Jump distance
Set the standard jump width (in minutes) used from
jumping forwards or backwards in the film by pressing
S or V. Use the numeric buttons on the remote
control to enter the time.
• If Smart jump is activated, the jump width can
only be set between 1 and 4 minutes.
Smart Jump
If Smart Jump is activated, the jump width is halved
every time you change the jump direction. The jump
width is doubled if you jump more than three times in
the same direction (max. 8 min.).
Serial recording tolerance
A broadcast programmed with the recording type
Serial is recorded if it begins within the programmed
start time ± series recording tolerance. Use the numeric
buttons on the remote control to enter the time (always
two-digit for 01 to 60 min.).
USB REC function allows you to record a TV programme
and watch it later. It also allows you to schedule one or
more recordings and they will be available to view later
on.
If EPG or teletext data are available, the USB REC
stores the title and additional information about each
programme.
If additional languages are being transmitted for a DVB
broadcast, these are also recorded. DVB subtitles
or teletext subtitles are recorded if the recording of
subtitles has been activated in the USB REC settings.
USB REC requires an external USB 2.0 memory or a
hard disk, always connected and previously configured
to record the information.
The first USB device connected appears as USB1
terminal.
The USB memory must be formatted before first
use for USB REC function.
Manual recording
Record interesting programmes directly into USB
memory with the USB REC button. When viewing time-
shift broadcasts the current broadcast can be saved to
the USB memory. The programme is recorded from the
beginning to the end of the time offset recording or to
the end of the set recording time.
Timer-controlled recording
Select your favourite programme for recording, from
the EPG. The timer overview has room for 50 entries.
Watch the programmes later from the USB memory.
Serial recording
You can conveniently programme series broadcast with
alternating start times.
Time shift viewing with archive recording
If youare recording a programme and would like to
watch it before it has finished, you can watch the movie
with a time shift while the rest is still being recorded.
