Troubleshooting

Check the following guide for the possible cause of a problem before contacting customer support.

5.1channel sound is reproduced only when the following conditions are met. :

1.The Blu-ray Disc Player is connected with the proper Amplifier

2.The disc is recorded with 5.1 channel sound.

The disc has no Disc menu.

The disc is not encoded with the corresponding function.

Turn on the TV.

Select the correct input mode on the audio receiver so you can listen to the sound from the Blu-ray disc player.

Connect the audio cables securely.

Turn on the equipment connected with the audio cable.

Replace with new ones.

Clean the disc.

Insert a disc. (Check that the disc indicator on the front panel display is lit.)

Insert a playable disc. (Check the disc type, color system, and regional code.)

Place the disc with the playback side down.

Place the disc on the disc tray correctly inside the guide.

Clean the disc.

Cancel the Parental Control function or change the rating level.

Check whether the disc being played has the “5.1 ch” mark on the outside.

Check if your audio system is connected and working properly.

In a SETUP Menu, is the Digital Output set to Bitstream?

Check if the disc has a Menu.
