Prior to Assembly
Before assembling, make sure you have all
the components required for a complete
unit and inspect unit and components for
any damage.

this owner’s/operator’s manual and tool kit for routine maintenance. Tool
kits vary by model and may include a spark plug/screwdriver combination
wrench, and a scraper.
This unit comes fully assembled with the
exception of the cutting attachment shield
and cutting attachment.

The throttle lever free play should
be approximately 3/16-1/4 inch (4-6
mm). See Figure 6. Make sure that the
throttle lever operates smoothly without
binding.
If it becomes necessary to adjust the
lever free play, follow the procedures
and illustrations that follow.
