Select »Timers and charge«
This menu offers you different
ways of checking duration and cost
of yourcalls:

Last call

Check the duration and cost of
yourlatest call.

Total calls

Check the duration of all incoming
and outgoing calls as well as the
total cost of yourcalls.

Reset timers and charge

Reset yourtimers so that the call
duration timers as well as the total
cost counters are set to zero.

Showtimer and credit

Make yourtelephone display the
current duration of yourongoing
conversations and/orhave your
standby display inform you of your
remaining credit (only if you have
prepaid yourcalls).

Call charge

Change the conditions of the call
charge functions.You have the fol-
lowing options:
Call charge maximum Entera maxi-
mum call charge limit,and no more
phone calls can be made when this
maximum has been reached.
Call charge unit price Enterthe unit
price foryour calls (check with your
network operator).
Call charge currency Enter the cur-
rency of yourcall charge.
Call charge remaining Check the
remaining call charge balance,if
you have entered a maximum call
charge limit.
Facts & Tips
• All features that concern the cost
of calls are only enabled if supported
by yournetwork, and in some cases it
is also necessary to entera unit price
and the actual currency in the sub
menu Call charge.Finally, you may be
asked to entera PUK2/PIN2 code.
• If you have prepaid yourcalls,
and yourremaining credit is not per-
manently displayed in yourstandby
display,you can see your remaining
credit by shortly pressing »
OFF
«
once ortwice (depending on network
and yoursettings concerning the
clock).

Replypath Formessages that
have to be sent via several service
centres to reach the recipient,
some networks offerthe feature of
forwarding a reply,if any,back to
you through the same chain of
service centres.This is called a
reply path,and activating it may
speed up the delivery time fora
reply.
Save outgoing SMS Activate »Save
outgoing SMS« if you want your
outgoing SMSs to be automatically
stored in youroutbox (p. 22).

Broadcast setup

To be able to receive broadcasts
you must enterthe Broadcast
setup which gives you the follow-
ing options:
Broadcast channels Set up a list
covering the kind of information
you wish to receive.The display will
show you various locations in
which you can store the individual
channels.Pressing »EDIT« will give
you a range of different kinds of
information among which you can
select the one(s) you want to
receive.
Broadcast language Some net-
work operators offerbroadcast
messages in different languages.
Select between different languages
orsimply select all languages.
Broadcast setting Finally,select
whetheryou want the broadcast
function to be activated.
