volume during conversation.

achieve optimum speech quality and
maximum talk time,you should
always hold yourphone in the lower
part during a call.If you carry the
phone in a pocket,the backside of the
phone should always point away from

Insert SIM card

Before you can make a call on your
mobile phone you have to insert
the SIM card:
Switch off yourphone and
remove the battery.
Place the SIM card in the
small recess in the phone.
Press the SIM card gently
downwards and slide it to the
right until it locks to the
phone.
Insert the battery,replace the
battery lid on the phone and
switch it on.
EnterPUK or PIN code, if
requested,and confirm by
pressing (»OK«).
If a numberof digits are flashing in
yourdisplay now, you need to set
yourclock.

Set clock

Press (»SET«) and enter
the time in the display via the
keypad.
Press (»OK«).
Please see p.31 for further infor-
mation on setting yourclock.
