When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be follo including the following:

•Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the ap malfunctions or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Return appliance to authorized service center for examination, electrical repair, mechanical repair or adjustment.
•The use of attachments, including canning jars not recommended or sold by
manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury.
•Do not use outdoors.
• Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
•Keep hands and utensils out of the jar while blending to prevent the possib severe personal injury and/or damage to blender. A rubber spatula may be u
only when the blender is not running.
•Blades are sharp. Handle carefully.
• To | avoid injury, | never place the blade unit on the power base/motor block |
the | jar properly | in place. |
• Always operate blender with lid in place.
•When blending hot liquids, keep the vent holes around the measuring cap o allow steam to escape.
• Allow hot liquids to cool down to a lukewarm temperature before pouring int jug.
Note: This appliance has a polarized plug (one prong is wider than the other). safety feature, this plug will fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug fill fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualifi electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way.
