Changing a station type
Normally, a Teilnehmer station is operated at the PC and the Ba- sis station is operated at a peripheral device. Other constella- tions, however, are possible in which both stations are connect- ed to another PC, in order to create a cordless data connection between two PCs. In this case, it may be useful to change the type of a station. Or you can implement more than one Partner- station in order to control a second PC or the modem alternate- ly. It may be necessary to change the station type in the case of a Gigaset M101 Data.
●Ensure that the correct station is connected locally.
●Select Change station type. The change is performed in the background. You can see that this has been performed when the information in the Station type line changes.
