Power Indicator ProblemsIf you encounter problems with the interactive pen display’s Power indicator, refer to
the following table:
Symptom Solution
The Power indicator is green
but you are unable to see an
image on the display.
•See Image Problems on page 42.
The Power indicator is
amber, the computer is on,
and it is not in Sleep or
Power Management mode.
• Make sure that the length of the video cable does
not exceed 15m (50').
• Turn off your computer and make sure that:
– the video cable is correctly connected to the
interactive pen display and the computer.
– the video cable is not bent or broken and
does not have bent or broken pins in either
connector.
NOTE
If you are using a video cable adapter,
check those connections as well.
– the video card in your computer is installed
correctly and is operating properly.
• If the problem persists, see Image Problems on
page 42.
The Power indicator is off. • Make sure that the interactive pen display is
turned on.
• Make sure that the interactive pen display’s power
cable is connected properly.
• If the Power indicator still does not illuminate,
contact SMART Technical Support (see page 51).
