Overview

My CDs are not recorded properly.

A.Ensure the recording software has been installed correctly as described in Chapter 2. Reinstall the software if required.

B.The stream of data may have been interrupted during the recording process. To prevent this from happening, disable other active software programs during the CD recording process. For more information, see See “CD Recording Tips” on page 22.

C.Your hard drive may not be fast enough. Or, if you are recording from a CD-ROM or DVD- ROM, ensure it operates at a high enough speed. This is required to provide a sufficient data stream to the CD-RW drive. A simple solution is to reduce the Write Speed. This can be done in the Recording software options.

D.The CD-R/ CD-RW disk may be bad or scratched. Try using a new CD-R or CD-RW disk.
