Navigating the Web Browser Interface

The Barricade’s management interface includes four key menus – Status, Help, Tools, and Setup. The Status and Help menus provide general information on the current settings and how to configure the Barricade. The Setup menu is used to configure the LAN and WAN interface, as well as other advanced functions. While the Tools menu is used to reset the Barricade, restore the factory settings, or upgrade firmware.

Setting a Password

If this is your first time to access the Barricade, you should define a new password, record it and put it in a safe place. From the Main Menu, select “Setup” and click on “Change Password” and follow the instructions on the screen (see page 4-7). Note that passwords can consist of 3 to 12 alphanumeric characters and are case sensitive.
