Check the following points below:
Step Test
1Do all the strings have the same number of series-connected modules?
2How high is the maximum reverse current in a defective string at nominal
conditions?
Example: generator with 4 strings of modules at 5 A short-circuit current
The maximum reverse current is 3 x 5 A = 15 A.
3Are the modules suitable for such a reverse current?
4If not: Have appropriate measures been taken in order to avoid these
currents (e.g. string fuse in each string)?
5Are the plug connectors of the modules and the inverter suitable for such a
reverse current?
6Is the string wiring suitable for such a reverse current?
